A man has been found stabbed to death in the front garden of a multimillion-dollar home near a beach north of Brisbane.
A neighbour reportedly stumbled on the body of the 57-year-old about 7.30pm on Monday in the Sunshine Coast suburb of Warana.
He was declared dead at the scene.

“Emergency services were called ... following reports a neighbour had found the man unresponsive in his front yard,” police said in a statement.
This masthead understands the dead man was found at 12 Napalle Street, a five-bedroom property about 180 metres from the beachfront.
Property records show the house is owned by Zdravko Bilic and Gry Susann Tomte, who bought the property in December 2021 for $2.5 million.
“That matter is under investigation,” Acting Commissioner Shane Chelepy told reporters on Tuesday morning, fronting a press conference about the findings of an independent 100-day review into the police service.
“I don’t want to talk about that matter. We’ve got police up there.”
The property remains a crime scene, as homicide officers investigate as part of Operation X-ray Elting.
Anyone with information or CCTV from the area is urged to contact police.
