Sydney Metro services in the city’s north have been cancelled this morning due to an unknown technical issue, with commuters told to catch replacement buses instead.

Transport for NSW said replacement buses had been organised but were yet to arrive.
It is not known when normal services will resume.
Meanwhile, a man was pinned to a rock wall with a truck alongside a motorway north of Sydney in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident occurred after three cars were involved in a crash on the M1 about 4am and another car stopped to lend assistance.

Two people who were standing on the road were struck by a large truck driving past, police said.
One man was knocked down, and the fourth was pinned by his legs against a rock wall.
A rescue helicopter, paramedics, firefighters and police rushed to the scene.
The two people who were inside the car that had stopped to help suffered minor injuries.
Two men have now been transported to hospital – one with leg injuries. The man driving the truck is being treated for a hand injury.
One of three southbound lanes was closed but had reopened by 7.30am on Saturday.
In May, a stretch of the M1 was closed after the tyres of more than 300 cars were damaged when scrap metal spilled from a truck.
About 750 kilograms of steel shards and shavings were strewn along the M1 Pacific Motorway after an unknown mechanical issue with the tip truck carrying the load from Newcastle to Sydney.
