A man has been charged with possessing an improvised weapon and stalking KISS FM radio host Jackie O Henderson in Sydney’s east.
Police began investigating 38-year-old David Gourlay on July 3, following reports that a stranger was stalking Henderson.

He was arrested the following day in Clovelly. While searching Gourlay, police allegedly found an improvised weapon in his possession.
He was taken to hospital for assessment and discharged into police custody on Thursday afternoon.
Gourlay has been charged with four counts of stalking, using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend, armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, and over an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He will face Waverley Local Court later today.
