The Everest day celebrations aren’t about to stop for one leading country stable ahead of Monday’s meeting at Muswellbrook.
In fact, they might just be getting started for the Paul Messara and Leah Gavranich team at Scone.

Fresh from their star mare Clear Thinking’s dominant first-up win in the $2 million Kosciuszko at Randwick on Saturday, the stable takes another strong team down the road to Muswellbrook where a firm and dry track awaits.
And leading the charge is a lightly raced mare who is set to make it two straight this prep, and take another step towards a Saturday Highway contest.
Deel Me A Queen, a four-year-old daughter of prolific Dundeel, reloads in a Class 1 Hcp over 1450m 24 days after she fought hard to claim her maiden at home.
Fuelling connections and punters’ belief Deel Me A Queen is headed for bigger targets was that she beat promising Chamber Of Secrets, who then easily won a Super Maiden at Coonamble next start as a hot favourite.
The stable then saddles up emerging colt Pontevedra for only his second start in a Maiden Plate over 1280m.
And it’s something of a payback for punters who supported him from $3.70 into $3.30 on debut at Newcastle, but he became very stirred up before the race and didn’t fire in the run home.
But with more education and a tinkering of the gear, connections are confident the real Pontevedra will turn up at Muswellbrook.
Finally, in another maiden over 1500m later on the program, Messara and Gavranich launch a two-pronged assault with resuming four-year-old Brilliant Knight and promising filly Verity who are both expected to run well.

The stable is set to lead home another swag of victories for Scone yards, with the Brett and Georgie Cavanough team also well represented.
That stable’s bid is led by improving mare Hibiki Harmony in a modest Benchmark 58 Hcp over 1500m, and exciting filly Capsity who emerges as the one to beat resuming in a Maiden Hcp over 900m.
In fact, Scone trainers could well take home the bulk of the meeting.
