Three people rushed to hospital after unit fire in Spring Hill

Three people, including a man who is fighting for his life, have been rushed to hospital after a fire near the Brisbane CBD.
Emergency services were called to a unit complex on Water Street in Spring Hill at about 3am this morning, with fire crews arriving at 3.05am.

A man with life-threatening burns was treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, as was a woman with serious burns.
A man with minor burns was taken to the Princess Alexander Hospital in a stable condition.
Seven fire crews, including specialist breathing apparatus teams, attended the fire, which was under control by 3.25am.
Crews stayed on the scene until 5.30am, when they handed the scene over to police.
An investigation is ongoing.
