Six teenagers have been arrested after an alleged joyride ending in a crash in Sydney’s inner west, while a Porsche has crashed through a house and landed on a bed in Sydney’s south west on Sunday morning.

Just after 12.30am, police attempted to stop a car on Erskineville Road, Erskineville, following a previous pursuit earlier in the night.

The car, a hatchback, was reported stolen from home in Camperdown last Friday.

When the driver allegedly failed to stop, police pursued the vehicle south toward Mascot, where the driver crashed into a pole on Botany Road.

The six boys allegedly fled from the crash and a search involving a police helicopter and officers from two area commands ensued. The boys were arrested.

A video taken of the incident and posted to social media shows a dark blue hatchback crumpled against a pole with at least seven police cars on the scene.

A teenage boy dressed in dark clothing can be seen lying on the ground while talking to police, before being assisted to his feet and walked to a police car.

The 14-year-old boy was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for abdominal pain and taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.

The other teens were also taken to hospital as a precaution and remain under police guard.

In a separate incident in Macquarie Fields, in Sydney’s south-west, police are searching for the driver of a luxury SUV after the vehicle crashed into a home and landed on a bed.

About 4.20am, emergency services were called to Evelyn Street where they found a white Porsche Macan had hit an electricity transformer before crashing through the front fence of a single-storey home, breaking through the front wall and landing in the bedroom.

The car was found resting on top of the bed. No one was at home at the time of the incident, and there have been no reports of injuries.

Two people left the scene before police arrived, with officers searching for the driver.

In a final incident in a dramatic night on Sydney’s roads, two drivers were taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Greenacre, also in Sydney’s south-west, with one of the cars smashing into a home.

About 12.50am, emergency services were called to Wiley Avenue following reports of a three-vehicle collision.

One vehicle had veered off the road following the crash and hit a house, rupturing gas and water lines.

The driver of the vehicle – a 45-year-old man – was taken to hospital in a stable condition, while the passengers – a 37-year-old woman and three children aged 15, 13 and five – were not injured.

A 26-year-old woman driving a ute involved in the collision was treated for serious leg injuries and taken to the hospital in a stable condition.

The 24-year-old male driver of the third vehicle, a sedan, was taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition for treatment and mandatory testing.
