Track soft 6 and rail true.
RACE 1
2. Alabama Charm went close from off the speed third up in tougher provincial company and is ready to win with a stronger jockey taking over. Bred to advantage in soft going, and drawn to find cover around midfield. 4. Wave Dancer is a lightly raced mare tracking to strike at her third start over a furlong further. 9. Redolent can improve sharply if ridden a little quieter after two unplaced efforts in Canberra. Untried in soft, but bred to handle it. 5. Anyone resumes off a lengthy break and quiet metropolitan trial for only his third start, while 6. Beauty Birdie is a city filly by So You Think on debut after two quiet trials.
How to play it: Alabama Charm to win.

RACE 2
2. The Netball Queen is a progressive mare that can claim back-to-back wins third up off a freshening. Led for a long way at Gosford before sailing well clear to thrash handy maiden opposition at Wyong. Drawn to dictate again from the inside, and right at home in soft ground. The one to beat. 1. Infant Warrior dug in hard from near the speed to break through second up at Hawkesbury, and this is no tougher. 3. Fine Wine is a big watch fresh off two improving trials for the Gary Portelli stable. 4. Li’l Grug is an honest improver dropping back from provincial opposition, and 7. Mystic Air, which swept home to win a weak country maiden on debut, head the rest.
How to play it: The Netball Queen to win.
RACE 3
3. Stern Reminder is a lightly raced and progressive four-year-old well placed to break through at just his third start. Had a long break after a fair closing debut in the country early last year when based at Tamworth. Finally returned for the new Goulburn stable when close up in a handy maiden at Wagga as an easing favourite. Less depth here, and with that run out of the way, he can open his account from a handy trailing draw. 9. Raining Violets is a Canberra filly that can improve third up back a furlong in distance. Expect a much sharper run from 7. Millie’s Memory, which dropped right out at Goulburn third up. 8. Mogo Rock is a sparingly raced older mare that has a 50 per cent place rate from eight starts.
How to play it: Stern Reminder to win.
RACE 4
4. Silverwater Kid is a provincial three-year-old by 2018 group 1 Rosehill Guineas winner D’argento. Opens his career behind a strong trial at Kembla where he showed natural speed and was only run down late by a good one, which was finishing in much better going. Over the odds. 1. Defiance is a talented three-year-old in the Bjorn Baker stable, resuming as a gelding. Has to slide across from the outside barrier, but won both lead-up trials on soft 5 ground, and has plenty of tactical speed. 3. Hellfire Henry, a metro three-year-old by Pariah, is a big market watch on debut. 10. Red Light Rachel, improving into her third start, and 11. Bold Bucks, a two-year-old on debut for the Richard and Will Freedman stable, both go into exotic plays.
How to play it: Silverwater Kid to win.
RACE 5
3. La Mer Bleue is well placed to claim a second win from three starts this prep coming back 100m in trip. Ploughed through the mud to claim a similar race at this track two starts ago before leading until the last stride in a tougher class at Goulburn. Has a real liking for rain-affected ground. 1. Abstruse has been in and around the money in a long prep, handles all going and drawn to get cover off the speed. 2. Marine Girl won two straight up to this level before struggling badly in much tougher class 3 Highway company. Back in the right grade, and drawn the inside ,but doubtful she can win carrying this weight. Under the odds. 5. Miss Scoop comes back in grade and trip second up, and saves her best for soft tracks, while 4. Drama Dodger, third up off a dominant win at Wagga heads the rest.
How to play it: La Mer Bleue to win.
RACE 6
1. Straight Fire is another Canberra raider who can strike fourth-up staying at the mile. Ran home strongly into a place from midfield in her last two, thrives in soft going, and a much stronger jockey takes over. 6. Southern Sky is an improving metropolitan mare coming back from tougher provincial races. Significantly, was scratched from Gosford on Saturday to be saved for this, and further boosted by one of the early main market rivals being preferred at Sunday’s Dubbo meeting. 2. Astrogazer drew wide, but was a dominant country winner from the front two starts ago, before not being beaten far in a deeper race at Goulburn. Gap to the rest headed by home-tracker 4. Gunfighter Road, which won a weak maiden here when resuming for only his second start, and 5. The Stars Align, second up.
How to play it: Straight Fire to win.

9. Wild Sensation is a capable metro five-year-old that can pounce second up off a lengthy spell in what is the most open race on the program. Given two soft trials before working home late in a provincial BM58, but this is his pet distance and right at home in soft going. 1. Savaii won all three starts up to class 2 level. Returned with a poor effort in tougher class at Goulburn 17 days ago, but will find this more to his liking. 5. Prince Harrison is progressive enough and suited over a bit more ground second up. 2. Tiger Town has not won for a while, but comes back from provincial level, and all four career wins have come in soft going. 12. Knight Of Rhodes, a stablemate of the top selection, is a lightly raced second up improver. 4. Acheson, fourth up, and 7. Smart Cry, a provincial BM66 winner two starts ago, can both run into the money.
How to play it: Wild Sensation to win.
