Selections based on a soft track
Race 1:
2. Zou Force is on debut after a couple of trials and comes into this having performed well in each of them. He can run well. 1. Stern Reminder has been placed in each of two starts at Coonamble and Wagga either side of a spell and should be primed to run well. 5. Brutal Belle has been placed in four of 13 starts and bears close watching. 7. Elasand has trialled well leading into this resuming run and isn’t out of it.
How to play it: Zou Force to win.

Race 2:
1. Amarillo Sky wasn’t beaten far on debut at Kembla Grange and then was midfield at Hawkesbury last time out. He looks talented and should be around the mix again. 7. Astound Beauty was safely held at this track last time and has the ability to bounce back. 6. Angel City has been placed in four of six starts and can be in the thick of things. 8. Dance With Destiny finished fourth when resuming and is not out of this.
How to play it: Amarillo Sky to win.

Race 3:
1. Auditory resumed from a spell with a strong third at Hawkesbury when last produced. He’s drawn wide but looks to be able to work over from the alley and be hard to hold out. 2. Long Live finished fourth at Kembla Grange on debut and can be thereabouts again with a repeat. 6. Zamazing was narrowly beaten last time out and can be in the thick of things again. 9. Let’s Be Honest resumes from a spell and should figure in the finish if she can run up to her solid trials.
How to play it: Auditory to win.

Race 4:
2. Senjutsu resumed with a close-up fourth at Hawkesbury and looms as a leading contender with a repeat of that. 5. Hazel Jean improved when a last start placegetter at Canberra and warrants respect. 6. Villa Castina is a last start Hawkesbury winner that has claims here, while 7. Miles Of Glory wasn’t beaten far at Hawkesbury when resuming and should be thereabouts.
How to play it: Senjutsu to win.

Race 5:
5. Rocco Lini scored in good style at Nowra in January. He ran well in a couple of other runs before winning at Wagga when last produced. If he runs up to that he can win again. 4. Samurai railed through to score a strong last start win and can go on with the job. 6. Miss Stalwart was a winner at Canberra before a last start sixth. 7. Crimson Miss was midfield at Hawkesbury last time and isn’t out of this.
How to play it: Rocco Lini to win.

Race 6:
6. Drama Dodger
was second-up from a spell at Wagga last time out when scoring a strong win. She’s been racing well and should be thereabouts. 3. Abstruse won at the Sapphire Coast three starts ago and has been placed in two runs since. Another bold showing is on the cards. 7. Rippana is a last start placegetter that shouldn’t be far away, while 9. Molteuno was placed at Cowra when last produced and is not out of this.
How to play it: Drama Dodger to win.

Race 7:
1. Atmospheric Rock has been contesting Highway events unsuccessfully but if he’s anywhere near his best in this, he looks hard to hold out. He has a big weight to contend with but has the class to overcome that. 3. Cossack Warrior has been racing well with placings at Wagga and the Sapphire Coast and isn’t out of this. 9. Tassalina won on debut at Wagga and then was midfield at Cowra. This looks within her reach. 5. Maritime Express has a solid record from nine starts and needs to run up to that form to be hard to hold out.
How to play it: Atmospheric Rock each way.

Race 8:
9. Autumn Break looked great winning his first three starts. He had no luck at Randwick when resuming with a third and was strong to the line when a last start third at Wagga. 7. Sir Franklin has a great record with four wins and as many seconds from nine starts. 10. Bengal is an on-speed runner that should be prominent and wasn’t beaten far at the Sapphire Coast last time. 3. Cougars was back to his best at the Sapphire Coast last time and can be thereabouts again.
How to play it: Autumn Break to win.

Race 9:
9. Wild Sensation resumed from a spell with a close-up fourth on the Beaumont track at Newcastle and he’s a two-time winner from 13 starts. He needs to run to his best to be hard to hold out. 1. Savaii disappointed at this track when resuming but can improve without surprising if anywhere near best. 2. Tiger Town was placed at Wyong last time and shouldn’t be underestimated. 3. Missile Leader was midfield at the Sapphire Coast when last produced and is worth including among the main chances.
How to play it: Wild Sensation each way.

Best Bets: Race 5 (5) Rocco Lini; Race 6 (6) Drama Dodger.
Best Value: Race 7 (1) Atmospheric Rock.
