Selections based on a heavy track.

Race 1

4. All Saints is a lightly raced mare that has been placed in three of her eight starts. She resumed from a spell with a fifth at this track, following a fifth at Hawkesbury before the break. She’s drawn well here and looks to have enough upside to be able to give this a major shake. 3. Zoustrong is a stablemate of All Saints and is also lightly raced with two placings from six starts. He hasn’t been beaten far in each of two runs back from a spell and can figure in the finish of this without surprising. 1. Aldezor was only beaten 1.7 lengths at Moruya when last produced despite finishing last. 7. Rubilace ran fifth in the same race Aldezor contested at Moruya and has place claims.
How to play it: All Saints to win.

Race 2

1. Marebello has been placed in three of his four starts, including a last-start second at Gosford when having his first run for Chris Waller. He raced on the speed in that event and can go forward again here to overcome the awkward alley. 7. The Confidante has been placed in two of three starts and only needs to run up to his last-start second at this track to be thereabouts again. 11. Wormington was not disgraced on debut at this track and should be better for the experience, while 12. Fiery Lass was placed here before being down the track in The Confidante’s race last time out.
How to play it: Marebello to win.

Race 3

6. Nazwah won with ease on debut at Gosford and was then favourite at Randwick when finishing sixth after showing speed. She wasn’t beaten far in that event, and this is much easier. 5. Gambler has a solid record and has the talent to get into the placings. 1. Century Song has won two in a row and can show up again, while 3. Insist is resuming and has shown the talent to be thereabouts in this.
How to play it: Nazwah to win.

Race 4

2. Lunar Lover is talented on his day and had run well when finishing third in his first two starts back from a spell before disappointing as favourite at Canterbury when last produced. He can be forgiven that run and if he can return to his best, he looks the one to beat in this. 1. Stay Tuned has struck winning form again of late having scored at Bathurst before backing it up with a win over this distance at this track. 5. Old Gregg ran fifth in the same race Stay Tuned contested here last time out and can get into the placings with a repeat, while 6. Mission Bravo warmed up well late at Taree last time out and has place claims.
How to play it: Lunar Lover to win.

Race 5

11. Hush Hush made her debut on a heavy 10 at Warwick Farm in August and hit the line well enough to finish second. She was spelled after that and has had two recent trials to prepare for this return. She’s drawn awkwardly but has the ability to run well. 7. Saint Aldwyn has been unplaced in two city starts and also resumes here after two trials. He looks set to run well. 13. Overshadow was not beaten far when fifth on debut at Canterbury and has been given a quiet trial in preparation for this. 12. Mythology was midfield on debut at Gosford and can get into the money here without surprising.
How to play it: Hush Hush to win.

Race 6

12. Lethal Love has struck winning form of late having scored two wins in a row, at Hawkesbury and Bathurst. She’s on an upward spiral and is drawn to get the run of the race in this. 13. Pretty Sassy won well at Nowra last month before a fifth at this track. She can show up again on the strength of those efforts. 8. Kirkuk has been placed in his past two starts at Queanbeyan and this track, and has place claims again. 7. Close Encounter has had two runs back from a spell and has performed well on wet tracks.
How to play it: Lethal Love each way.

Race 7

4. Jagerbomb has only had the four starts but has shown plenty of talent with a maiden win at this track in August in addition to three third placings from his other three starts. He resumes from a spell here and has had two trials, finishing fourth in the last of them at Randwick behind Johnny. 2. In And Out also managed to win a maiden at this track in September, and he is a city placegetter. He had two trials before resuming with a seventh at Warwick Farm and should be better for that run. 6. Fast Track has been placed in her past three starts this campaign and should be thereabouts again. 7. Michelangelo disappointed at Canterbury when last produced and has had a trial since then to be readied for this.
How to play it: Jagerbomb each way.
