RACE 1
9. Moana Gold is a genuine and improving mare who worked home strong behind a smart winner first-up at Newcastle, and she gets a little more ground here from another favourable trailing draw. Scratched from Wyong on Wednesday to be saved for this. 7. Vasala is a four-year-old by Snitzel and a big market watch on debut for the Waterhouse-Bott stable behind two trials, and also preferred here to Wyong. 8. Audenzia is trained on the course, and returns via a soft trial after being in and around the money last campaign. 2. Currahee is some value third-up from the inside draw. In an open race, include both 10. Reverberates second-up coming through that same race as the top selection where she had a tough run, and locally trained 11. Zeema resuming off two trials.

RACE 2
4. Channelling is an improving and hard-fit mare emerging as the one to beat coming back in class, and one month between runs. Ran home well to miss by a long head in deeper grade here two starts back before stuck on well in deeper metropolitan mares company, and the form from that race has proved very solid. Drawn to get good cover just off speed, and she will be strong late. Keep safe 7. Playful Puzzle who has been freshened up via a soft trial since charging home first-up to beat all but the winner in a country CL1 1. Energetic Legend can improve sharply second-up with blinkers going on. Watch for any market move around stablemate 3. Tod resuming for only his third start behind a quiet trial. 8. Convert third-up goes in all trifecta and first four plays.
How to play it: Channelling to win
RACE 3
10. Kosrae is an improving filly, and represents terrific value in an open and tricky Midway maiden lining up for just her second start. Wasn’t overly suited when drawn in the slower part of the track on debut, but kept chasing OK. Far more stronger and senior jockey takes over, and the bigger track and extra 100m are both pluses. 8. Vingt Neuf Noir is a lightly raced Randwick filly and big watch second-up after not getting a lot of room at a crucial stage at Canterbury, and naturally will find this easier. 6. Rose Of Fenway is also very lightly raced and chased gamely when resuming at Hawkesbury. 1. Brutal Advance is fit and hit the line well in his last three, but has a tricky draw here off the track with a 3kg claimer aboard.
How to play it: Kosrae each way
RACE 4
7. War King is a progressive enough colt set to peak third-up in his first full prep a month between runs. Worked home well behind a dominant and well backed winner at Rosehill over this trip, and settles a bit closer here from a more economical draw. 5. Free And Fast, a three-year-old by boom sire Wootton Bassett, can make a big impact on debut for its Victorian stable behind two solid Randwick trials. 1. Ballpark is a big threat for a leading combination after being beaten by less than a length on debut at Hawkesbury when backed from $11.00 into $7.00. 11. Royal Chic second-up and 13. Toussaint third-up, are both drawn low and can add value across the exotics.

RACE 5
4. Gambler is an improving three-year-old in a strong metro stable well-placed to pounce second-up. Stormed home impressively to miss by a long neck first-up at Hawkesbury when hard in the market, and can settle a littler closer here off speed with crucial gear changes. 1. Benevac is a big watch resuming for a leading yard off a 12-week break, and easy trial. 3. Big Red Tequila is another one resuming for a leading stable behind two trials. 7. All Adore bolted in a weak country maiden when resuming as a heavily backed favourite, and drawn to get a handy run on speed. Gap to the rest headed by 6. Lull resuming with a gear change.
How to play it: Gambler to win
RACE 6
8. Longinus is a sparingly raced five-year-old who can improve enough to strike second-up. Was backed from $6.50 into $4.40 when resuming and leading for a fair way at this track in a handy CL1. Again drawn to get a good run on speed, and is in very capable provincial hands. 7. Kilbrannan is a big threat coming off a strong closing Super Maiden win second-up at Newcastle. 1. Artful Persuasion is a second-up improver, with winkers being added. 4. Blow In did his best work late in a handy open Federal in Canberra when reloading off a four-week break, and is a worthy watch coming to the provincials on a six-day turnaround. Watch for any support too around stablemate 2. Craven Magic third-up at good odds; while 10. Scopics can run into the minor money deep into his prep.
How to play it: Longinus to win

7. Outta Line is a talented mare resuming for just her second start for a leading metro stable. Was dominant from the front on debut at Wyong in early winter, and has been fitted with two trials up to 1050m. Leading jockey sticking from the trial is another strong pointer. 9. Purple Rose is another exciting mare who has come back in terrific fashion, bolting in both runs this prep with good sectional speed from the front. Can make it three straight from an ideal draw, although wouldn’t be diving into too short a price up to this grade. 2. Commanding Belle and 3. Peschiera, both improving second-up and coming back in grade, are each-way value.
How to play it: Outta Line to win
BEST BETS: R2 4. CHANNELLING
R5 4. GAMBLER
BEST VALUE: R7 7. OUTTA LINE
