Three more teenagers have been charged over a school stabbing after a feud between rival gangs from north and south of the river allegedly spilled over from social media onto the grounds of Ellenbrook Secondary College on Monday afternoon.
Six youths aged between 14 and 16 have already been charged over the stabbing, which left a student at the school in hospital and sent the campus into lockdown just as classes were finishing for the day.

Perth Children’s Court was told on Tuesday that the “south side” group had travelled via train to the school in the city’s north-east to confront their rivals, allegedly cornering the 15-year-old student, stabbing him and hitting him in the head.
The student ran back inside the school and was given medical treatment as a lockdown was called.
Three of the accused appeared in Perth Children’s Court on Tuesday, with one granted bail and the other two indicating via a duty lawyer that they intended to apply for bail at a later date.

Now, Midland detectives have arrested another three boys over the melee, with two 14-year-olds and one 15-year-old charged with disorderly behaviour in a public place, being armed in a way that may cause fear, unlawful wounding, and assault occasioning bodily harm.
One teenager was also charged with carrying or possessing an edged weapon. All three are due to appear before Perth Children’s Court on Wednesday.
Deputy Premier Rita Saffioti praised the school’s quick response on Tuesday, and said it was “very concerning” people were allegedly walking the streets and entering the school with weapons.
“As I understand, all the procedures were followed ... to protect the children, police responded, the community responded,” she said.
Saffioti said she had spoken to the school’s principal, who was “very shaken up”.
“To be honest, the principal was shaken, but very, very calm … and was very much articulating all the procedures they followed, and also the fact that they had been in contact already with the district office and making sure that all the initiatives were in place.”
