Trains have been suspended on three major Brisbane railway lines after a woman crashed her car onto the tracks at Wooloowin station in the city’s north.
The woman crashed through a fence and onto the tracks off the corner of Hudson Road and Lisson Grove about 1.40pm on Tuesday.
She was the only person in the vehicle and is in a stable condition at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

At 3.15pm, trains travelling in both directions on the Airport, Doomben and Shorncliffe lines were suspended between Eagle Junction and Domestic Airport, Doomben and Northgate because of the crash, with delays of up to an hour.
Trains on the Caboolture, Redcliffe Peninsula and Sunshine Coast lines were previously suspended but have been restored, with services still expected to be delayed up to 15 minutes.
Rail replacement buses are being arranged between Eagle Junction and Albion stations, and the Domestic Airport and Doomben station.
