Police have laid fresh charges against three men who they have accused of murdering Kelvin Grove man Andrew Burow in August.

They said Burow had been taken to up to eight locations and tortured before he was killed.

Detective Acting Inspector Murray O’Connell said police had charged three men with murder, including two – Anthony Thomas Perrett, 38, and Billy John Howard, 26 – who are already facing torture charges.

Andrew Burow’s family shared a new photo of the Kelvin Grove man.

“These men will also be charged with kidnapping, extortion, and misconduct of a corpse by interfering,” O’Connell said.

He said the third man, 57-year-old Gregory Terrence Snell, from Buderim, would also face murder and torture charges.

“It will be alleged that the men tortured Andrew at numerous locations and on or about August 25, they murdered Andrew and left his remains beside Brooklands Pimpimbudgee Road at Maidenwell, around August 26,” O’Connell said.

He said officers suspected the meeting had been pre-arranged, and only one man of the three had been known to Burow.

More to come.
