A woman and child have been found dead at a home south of Brisbane after an injured man turned up at a supermarket nearby.
Officers were called to a supermarket in Logan about 7.30am on Thursday where a wounded man had been reported to police.
Police alleged the man had run to the shop on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road in Bannockburn from a property at nearby Belivah.
Police attended the house, where they found the bodies of a woman and a child.
The man was receiving medical treatment on Thursday morning, but police said he would be assisting with investigations.
Crime scenes were established at the property and supermarket.
