Goulburn horseman Danny Williams will send a team of runners to Sunday’s Moruya meeting having lined up three horses in the TAB Highway at Gosford on Saturday.

Williams managed to finish a close second with Exit Fee at Gosford, while Silver Serenade, which was also engaged for the Moruya meeting, ran fifth and Sneaky Pee Cee finished eighth.

With Silver Serenade out of its Moruya event, Williams will rely on stablemate Winning Emotions when it contests the Funland Ulladulla Country Boosted Benchmark 58 Handicap (1010m) with Shaun Guymer in the saddle.

“He’s a handy horse with a solid record to his name,” Williams said of Winning Emotions.

“His form earlier in the year was very good with a second at Moruya and a fourth in good company at Rosehill when he wasn’t beaten far at all.

“He was midfield behind a runaway winner in a Highway at Rosehill before having a break, and he has had a trial at Goulburn to get ready for his return. I’m expecting him to run very well.”

The Piere Boudvillain-ridden Elasand will be the first Williams runner at Moruya when it lines up in the Tailor Made Financial Services Maiden Plate (920m).

“She’s had the eight starts for one placing and, while she was safely held in her latest run, her two previous efforts weren’t too bad,” Wiliams said.

“If she can put her best foot forward, she could improve.”

Glenn’s Legacy will start in the BSP Advisory Super Maiden Handicap (1200m) with Adrian Layt taking the ride.

“He’s resuming from a good spell and has had two solid trials to get him ready for the return to racing,” said Williams.

“He ran second on debut at Wagga last March and then had a break before finishing fourth in a couple of runs at Moruya and Goulburn, and then fifth at Goulburn at his last run.”

Williams will round out the Moruya meeting when Guymer teams up with Tjaka in the Tomakin Sports And Social Club Mothers Day Cup Benchmark 58 Handicap (1650m).

“She’s talented at best and a forward showing wouldn’t surprise,” Williams said.
