Two-year-old injured after car hits three people at Scarborough intersection

Three people have been injured after they were hit by a car in Scarborough overnight, with one of them believed to be a two-year-old child.
Police said the incident happened just after 7pm on Friday evening at the intersection of West Coast Highway and Manning Street.

Emergency services including attended the scene where two men aged 38 and 20 were treated by paramedics.
The 38-year-old was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries, which the 20-year-old sustained minor leg injures and was treated at the scene.
A two-year-old girl was also injured and taken to Perth Children’s Hospital for further treatment.
Police said the 76-year-old female driver of the Lexus hatchback was uninjured and remained at the scene.
They are now urging anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers.
“The WA Police Force continues to urge all motorists to take care on the road,” a spokesperson said.
“Drive safely and keep in mind the wellbeing of yourself and others.”
