A young boy has been found dead north of Brisbane hours after he was reported missing.
The three-year-old was reported missing from a Central Avenue home at Thabeban in Bundaberg about 3.30pm on Tuesday.
Police declined to comment on reports from the scene his body was found inside a car.

The temperature in the Central Queensland city exceeded 30 degrees on Tuesday.
Officers had searched for hours before he was found about 9.25pm near the property.
“[We] are not treating the death as suspicious and are preparing a report from the coroner,” a statement from police said.
