Race 1

4. Celestial Bell is a speedy type that did the job well to score at Armidale four starts ago in October. Since unplaced at Inverell and Glen Innes before finishing second in a non-TAB meeting at Deepwater last time out. She should take plenty of running down. 3. La Narradora was placed at Armidale two starts ago and then backed that up with a fifth at this track when last produced. This looks well within reach. 5. Alabama Girl followed a third at Lismore with a last-start fifth at Ballina and should find this a little easier. 8. Shillong ran home well enough at Murwillumbah at his last outing and can show up with a repeat of that.

Race 2

4. Hey Daisy was resuming from a spell at the Sunshine Coast at her latest start and was heavily backed before finishing a game second to subsequent Brisbane Saturday winner Larado. She is up against easier opposition in this and gets her chance to break through. 3. Dividends Paid did the job well on debut at Coffs Harbour when showing speed to lead and holding on well to score a strong win. If he can repeat that effort, then he will take plenty of running down again. 8. The Rookie raced on the pace at Ballina when last produced and toughed it out well to the line to score a good win. 5. Monaco Flyer led and fought on for a last-start third at Ballina.

Race 3

5. Lord Of Flames has only had the three starts, but finished third in two of them, at Doomben and Ipswich, at the end of his initial preparation before being spelled. Has had two trials to prepare for this. Expect him to be difficult to hold out. 10. Jennibelle is a mare on debut that has had two trials to prepare, at Coffs Harbour and this track, winning the last of them. A bold first-up showing is on the cards. 13. Sunstaz has been placed in both starts to date and should figure in the money again, while 4. Stainless Steel is a last-start Deepwater placegetter that has minor claims again.
How to play it: Lord Of Flames to win.

Race 4

4. Cabsav has not won for a while but is handy on his day and he wasn’t too far away at Inverell two starts ago. He followed that with a sixth at Armidale and is drawn to get a good run here. 3. Picasso’s Dream was placed at Murwillumbah when last produced and resumes from a spell in this. Expect a good run while fresh. 1. Pixie Hallow won well at Bowraville two starts ago and then ran fifth here last time out. 7. Love Rat was fourth last start at this track and has the ability on his day.
How to play it: Cabsav each way.

Race 5

2. Beearetee has been racing well, with a second at Coffs Harbour two starts ago followed by a third at Ballina when hitting the line well. Jett Newman takes the ride here, and he this distance should suit. 4. Redadel has been midfield in recent runs and an improved performance against these would not surprise. 7. Turpin’s Torment finished off well when a last-start second at Tamworth and should be closing strongly again. 12. Some Girls was safely held here at her last start but can improve here.

Race 6

2. Fulmen Filou settled a mile back in his last start at Gunnedah, but charged to the line to finish second. That followed a second at Armidale, and he is knocking on the door to break through with another win. 4. Sonder has been racing well with placings at Armidale and this track at his past two starts. He should get the run of the race from a good gate. 7. Eject also ran home well to finish third in the same race Fulmen Filou contested at Gunnedah, and should be thereabouts again. 3. Mr Plume has been safely held in recent starts but is talented on his day.
How to play it: Fulmen Filou to win.

Race 7

6. Next Pay Run won in good style at Murwillumbah two starts ago and then backed that up with a third at Inverell when not beaten far. She’s drawn well here and can bounce back to winning form. 8. Bow hit the line well for a last-start second at Coffs Harbour and should be finishing strongly again. 9. Intoxel is an on-speed runner that can give plenty of cheek from the inside gate. 11. Spills scored an upset last-start win at Coffs Harbour and has claims.
