Who else but Hugo Keenan to score for Ireland
By
Fresh from breaking Australian hearts in November with the British and Irish Lions, Hugo Keenan scores for Ireland to give them a lead.
The Wallabies will be wondering how much they have left in the tank.
A lot of rugby to be played still.

Ryan Lonergan gone for the rest of the game
By
A real pity that Ryan Lonergan is gone after taking a knock to the throat, the Brumbies player was having a great game in his first Test.
Tate McDermott will finish out the game at halfback.
Who have you got ?

Ireland’s comeback try just before half time
By
The Wallaby Way, Allianz Stadium, Sydney
By
In three years of covering the Wallabies, that is the best first half of rugby I can remember. The Wallabies are physical, fast and relentless.
Then the Irish struck back just as the half-time siren sounded, getting through 80 metres of work, it looked forward, but the referee Ben O’Keefe didn’t call it back.
What a half of rugby and there’s more to come.
Ireland will go in with their tails up, but the Wallabies need to remember how well they have played.

Josh Canham gets a try on his first Test start and Lonergan follows up
By
Josh Canham has silenced the doubters with a great try after a bullocking break from Rob Valentini and Carter Gordon kicks his first conversion.
The Wallabies look a completely different outfit to November and how good is that.
And we have another Wallabies try, after a Max Jorgensen interception from a Sam Prendergast pass for Ireland and then unselfishly passing to Ryan Lonergan.
This is the Wallaby way.

Ireland hit back through Josh van der Flier
By
We have barely finished 20 minutes and we have four tries. Ireland get their second through breakaway Josh van der Flier who crashes over from short range.
The Wallabies get a let off with the normally accurate Sam Prendergast missing the conversion. This game is being played at a hell of a pace, the bench will be huge.

Jock Campbell breaks 4 years out of the Test team with a try
By
A brilliant 50 metre break from Jock Campbell is finished in the corner with a try for Jock Campbell who has been four years without Test rugby.
Gordon has missed his first two conversions, and it’s hard to understand why Ryan Lonergan is not taking the kicking tee. These four points could be costly.

Ireland fire back
By
Ireland fire back through breakaway Cian Prendergast after centre Stuart McCloskey muscled through Wallabies tackles.
It was a hot start for the Wallabies, but Ireland haven’t panicked and are working their way back into this contest.
This is going to go down to the wire.

Pietsch gets the Wallabies the perfect start
By
What a perfect start for the Wallabies. Len Ikitau was in the middle of the Wallabies’ best work with some muscular carries.
Jock Campbell did brilliantly to take a Carter Gordon pass off his bootlaces and fed Pietsch.
Gordon misses with the conversion.
This atmosphere at Allianz Stadium is at good as I’ve heard it. How good is Test rugby.
