Selections based on a good track

Race 1

6. Cando Attitude had two trials before debuting at Moruya and doing the job well when racing on the speed and finding plenty to score as favourite. She can go right on with the job here with the benefit of that run under her belt. 1. Complaisance was an Albury winner on debut. She resumed from a spell with a fourth at this track and can improve on that effort in this event. 3. Written By Lucy is a speedy mare that is rarely too far away. She led them up and weakened late when fourth at Orange when last produced and should give plenty of cheek in this. 2. Nagadec resumes from a spell here. She broke her maiden at the Sapphire Coast back in February and was placed in her two latest starts before a spell. She’s had one trial leading into this return.
How to play it: Cando Attitude WIN.

Race 2

1. Star Legacy has only won two races from 32 starts but has a further 13 placings to his name. He was midfield at Kembla Grange when last produced and was close-up when fourth in the start prior. He gets his chance to bounce back to winning form here. 2. Heromania was resuming from a spell when a last start seventh at Moruya and should have derived benefit from that run. 3. Beauer ran third in the same event Heromania contested at Moruya and looms as a leading contender here, while 4. Sir Sublime finished fourth in the same race at Moruya and only needs to run up to that effort to be in the finish of this.
How to play it: Star Legacy WIN.

Race 3

10. Dubai Jorge is a Pride Of Dubai gelding which is on debut here. He has had one trial at Moruya and ran third in that behind the handy So You Pence. He’s drawn ideally here in gate one. 11. Neeson debuted with a second at Canberra back in April and was then spelled. He won a trial in May and has since won another two recent trials leading into this return to racing. 12. Treasure Hunter is also on debut and has performed well in his latest two trials in preparation for this. 6. Cosmic Attraction is a mare on debut, and she ran second to Neeson in her latest trial at Goulburn.
How to play it: Dubai Jorge EACH WAY.

Race 4

9. Cool Rupert had looked good in two trials before debuting with a second at Kembla Grange when big odds. He backed that up with a third at the same track when a close-up third at his second start. He looks primed to break through with a win here. 10. Alnair was safely held when ninth on debut at Newcastle but should be better for that run and can make an impact. 11. Mozzoni debuted with a sixth at Kembla Grange and is in a good stable and improvement is expected in this line up. 7. The Eyes Have It followed a second at Canberra with a midfield Moruya effort and can get into the minor money here.
How to play it: Cool Rupert WIN.

Race 5

8. Airliner was fresh at Moruya last time out and ran home well from back in the field to finish a solid second. He’s only won the one race from 27 starts but this doesn’t look overly hard, and he can add another victory to his record. 10. Sebastian’s Flyer has finished fourth in both runs back from a spell and only needs to maintain that form to be rated a chance in this. 3. Son Of Eureka broke his maiden at Goulburn two starts ago and comes into this after a midfield effort at Wagga. 4. Flashy Icon won well on the Acton track at Canberra before being spelled and can sprint well fresh here.
How to play it: Airliner WIN.

Race 6

10. Can’t Touch This is a two-time winner from nine starts and hit the line well enough when a last start fifth at Kembla Grange to suggest she can make an impact in this company. She’s drawn to advantage in barrier one and has Mitchell Bell to ride. 9. All Too Lucky was beaten less than three lengths when midfield at Goulburn when last produced and a repeat of that would have her in the finish here. 11. Ulysses Blue has finished second in two of her last three starts and is fresh for this. 2. Flying Impala failed to fire when resuming at Moruya but is worth another chance.
How to play it: Can’t Touch This WIN.

Race 7

1. Maccbi is first-up from a spell here after finishing second in a recent trial. He had solid form in city and provincial grade before the break including a second at Hawkesbury behind Hurry Miss. 12. Mamma Mia wasn’t beaten far on debut at Kembla Grange, while 6. Unnatural Power debuts here after two trials either side of a break and bears close watching. 5. La Nina ran third at Goulburn at her second start in a race and with the benefit of further improvement can figure in the finish again.
How to play it: Maccbi WIN.
