A crime scene has been declared after two men were found dead in a unit on the Sunshine Coast on Friday.
Police were called to the complex on Kingsford Smith Parade in Maroochydore, about 1½ hours north of Brisbane, around 11.20 am to conduct a welfare check.

Inside the unit, they found a 65-year-old Maroochydore man and 56-year-old Mountain Creek man deceased.
A crime scene has since been declared and an investigation into the causes of death are under way, with police appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
