A federal judge in Maryland on Thursday ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia's immediate release from Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody.
The order grants relief for the El Salvadoran national over the government's objections. Judge Paula Xinis said in her 31-page order that Abrego Garcia has been held "without lawful authority."
