Car rolls in multi-vehicle Gateway Motorway crash as traffic backs up

A car has rolled and two people are in hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Brisbane’s south.

The four vehicles collided about 6am while travelling northbound on the Gateway Motorway near Logan Road in Eight Mile Plains.

A car rolled, and a truck was involved in the crash.

There was one male in each car, and two were taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition. One suffered back injuries.

QLDTraffic showed significant delays.

Police said they were preparing to reopen the motorway “shortly” just before 8am.
