The footwear entrepreneur has an impressive Australian property portfolio, having purchased an $83.5 million waterfront estate in Sydney’s Rose Bay with cash in December, as previously reported by this masthead.
A sold sticker went up on the Brighton listing, indicating a sale of $8 million by private treaty on December 15. The property was sold by Alex Schiavo of Kay & Burton Bayside who declined to comment on any aspect of the sale or buyer’s identity when contacted.

On Friday, he emerged on transfer documents as the cash buyer of Sydney’s top residential property sale of 2025, the $83.5 million waterfront estate in Rose Bay.
The five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion was purchased from Lawrence Myers, chief executive of James Packer’s family office Consolidated Press Holdings, and his wife, Sylvia.

Listing agents on the Sydney deal, Steven Chen of The Agency and Pillinger’s Brad Pillinger, declined to comment on any aspect of the sale or buyer’s identity when contacted. Buyers’ agent Simon Cohen of Cohen Handler is thought to have represented the buyer, and also declined to comment.
The 1039-square-metre parcel of verdant land is almost unmatched. Designed by David Walker and Peter Janks, it has no immediate neighbours on either side and frames Sydney’s iconic sights picture-perfectly.
