Beasley and Boudvillain open the day in Book Your Christmas Race Day Package Now Country Boosted Maiden Handicap (1000m) when first starter Under Wraps is produced. Under Wraps is a three-year-old gelding by Astern and Beasley has given him one trial in preparation at Wagga.
“He’s a talented horse that I’m looking forward to seeing in action,” Beasley said. “He did the job well in his trial at Wagga, winning it pretty easily. Pierre rode him in that, and he sticks with him at Albury. He’s riding well so the horse should get every chance.”
Beasley’s second runner is Light Foot in the Yackandandah Park Benchmark 66 Handicap (1000m).
“She’s only had the two starts since joining my stable, but she’s a mare that has shown ability having won two of her six races,” Beasley said. “She resumed and had her first start for me when finishing third at Albury and then she was midfield at Corowa at her latest hit-out. She’s drawn to get a good run, so I’d expect her to figure in the finish.”
The third of Beasley’s runners will be in action in the final event with Donegal Bay lining up in the Atura Albury Benchmark 58 Handicap (1175m).
“He’s a lightly raced Star Witness gelding that started his career with Grahame Begg and came to me last preparation,” Beasley said. “He had his first two starts for me at Albury and finished second and third respectively in them.

Boosted Benchmark 58 Handicap (1600m) and Noir Vitesse in the NSW Jockeys Trust Maiden Plate
