Naughton goals, Sanders denied

By

Aaron Naughton booted a goal from close range and moment later they went forward again and Ryley Sanders looked to have snapped a classy goal.

But. But. But. The ARC found that the ball had grazed a teammates hands off the boot.

No goal.

Pedlar out for Crows but goals keep coming

By

I missed this earlier but the Crows have confirmed that Luke Pedlar is out with a hamstring injury.

In the meantime, Dogs fans aren’t happy about a dangerous tackle call in their forward line, they were booing soon after as Zach Taylor kicked goal number 14 for the visitors.

They need to turn up the difficulty level, this is too easy for them.

Rachele kicks his third

By

Sam Berry and the Crows won the ball from the ball up and Rachele snuck out the back and took a mark before booting his third goal.

The Dogs have no answers for the Crows, even after a whole half-time to work on it.

Half-time analysis: Bulldogs are shaken, but not completely stirred

By

The Bulldogs are shaken and frustrated, but must remain clear of mind if they are to mount a challenge in the third term.

The Crows were as forensic and ruthless as they have ever been in the Matthew Nicks era

Jordan Dawson is the best leader in the competition, while key forwards Riley Thilthorpe and Darcy Fogarty were dominant. Add Josh Rachele to that list, too.

The Crows have a 13-2 advantage in inside-50 tackles – it’s that pressure which sums up the Crows’ efforts.

The Bulldogs had their moments in the second term – Marcus Bontempelli, Ed Richards and Nick Coffield finding the ball. But the Crows steadied and deserve their big lead. Luke Beveridge knew it would be a challenge for his team to handle the Crows’ pressure. They have failed – so far.

HT: Adelaide 12.3 (75) to Western Bulldogs 5.5 (35)

By

The Dogs took a little bit off the lead but the Crows are in command heading into the second half.

The game has become much more contested and that is slowing down the scoring although Ben Keays snapped a goal just seconds before the siren.

They are hard to hold down when in form like this.

Jones a star but Crows in control

By

The pace of this second term has eased after a frantic start where the two clubs exchanged multiple goals.

The Bulldogs enjoyed the open space, and it’s been a pleasure to watch how exciting forward Arty Jones has improved this season.

The Bulldogs have finally started to win the clearances, but the bottom line is this - the Crows still have all the answers.

Your view: Can the Dogs come back and win?

Two goals in a row for the Dogs

By

The Bulldogs are trying anything and anyone they can to get back in this match.

Cooper Hynes kicked a goal from distance, and after they won the ball back, Ed Richards dashed into the forward-50 arc and booted the goal.

“They will have to make every post a winner now, the Bulldogs,” King said on Kayo Sports.

Jones goals as Dogs start their comeback

By

Arty Jones made a superb tackle to win a free kick and then booted his second goal.

He’s pumped his fist and tried to fire up the crowd. Then he’s on the umpire microphone having a joke and a laugh with umpire Brett Rosebury.
