Rosas goals again; More injury woes for Swans
By
Malcolm Rosas broke away from the defenders to kick his second goal and keep the Swans within touch.
But the Swans now have a third major injury issue, according to Kayo Sports.
Riley Bice is having his quad strapped heavily. It’s not clear if his injury will hamper him for the rest of the match or even force him out.
Justin McInerney is already out with a hamstring injury and defender Tom McCartin will still be receiving his concussion testing and remains uncertain.
Saints 80, Swans 69 with six mins to go in Q3.
Wilson denied goal

Darcy Wilson looked to have kicked another goals for the Saints but William Edwards reached out and got a finger on the footy, so the arc reviewed it and called it touched behind.
Great hustle from Edwards, he looks perfectly suited to the Swans despite only playing a handful of games so far.
Saints 79, Swans 63 with 10 mins to go in Q3.
Ryan kicks fourth; McCartin off with head knock
By
Liam Ryan marked deep in the pocket and snapped his fourth goal after his side created an overlap and ran the ball into the forward line.
Saints coach Ross Lyon told his players to not run away from the play too early and to stop the Swans having an extra player in defence.
Swans defender Tom McCartin collided with Ryan soon after that goal in a heavy collision - he looked a little dazed but walked off the field with trainers and was taken for a head injury assessment.
Much has been made about his previous concussion issues - hopefully he pulls through this OK.

Despite bad play, the Swans are still in it
By Jonathan Drennan
The Swans will be hugely relieved to go into the sheds at eight points down, having found themselves 33 points down in the second quarter.
The Swans have played some of their worst football of the year, but somehow are still in this game.
A lack of accuracy with disposals have proven costly and the normally laconic and genial Dean Cox may need his first major spray of the year to shake his side out of the slumber.
Swans lose star
By
Swans playmaker Justin McInerney won’t return in the second half due to hamstring tightness.
He will be a big loss for the Swans and leave them a rotation down - he also offers cover in the forward line and midfield which adds to the impact of his absence.
McInerney kicked a goal and had 14 disposals in the first half.

The Swans have ended the half in burning hot form kicking four-straight goals in a matter of minutes with Charlie Curnow booting a close-range goal a minute before the siren.
Joel Amartey’s pressure deflected a Saints’ handball in the lead up. Big Charlie can thank his big mate Joel during the break.
The Saints were so good for so much of this half but you can’t let the Swans run wild at any ground, let alone the SCG.
They know these confines so well.
It should be a super second half.
Swans go whoosh
By
Just when the Saints would have turned their thoughts to a little break, the Swans have pounced kicking two quick goals on the back of McDonald’s major.
Chad Warner and Joel Amartey kicked the goals and the SCG crowd is roaring as they have come back from 32 points down to being within 13 now.
Saints 70, Swans 57 with two mins to go in Q2.
McDonald keeps Swans in it
By
The Saints have already passed their best first half score of the season but the Swans are still kicking goals with Logan McDonald marking and kicking truly.
With half-time fast approaching, the Swans would love another couple of goals.
Crucial five minutes to come.
Saints 70, Swans 44 with five mins to go in Q2.
Ryan’s third
By
This is a bold response by the Saints.
Liam Ryan has his third goal of the afternoon, to restore their big second-term lead. It’s back out to 32 points. The prospect of an upset at the SCG is rising.
