Track good 4 and rail out 2m.

Race 1

4. Pro Velocity is a progressive enough mare ready to score an overdue second win on a seven-day back-up and rising significantly in trip. Has hit the line hard from well back in his last two in the country and provincials, and comes back from a race which had a little more depth. 1. Call Me Son is primed to peak fourth-up over slightly further coming back from deeper provincial opposition. 3. Golden Smile can bounce back from a horror run in a smarter field at Canterbury when the jockey lost his position and was subsequently caught wide. Had placed in his previous three, twice on his home track here when beaten narrowly. 8. La Morra, coming off a third-up provincial maiden win, and 9. Icon Dream, also third-up, head the rest.
How to play it: Pro Velocity to win.

Race 2

1. El Qasabi has been a little disappointing in three runs this prep, but gets his chance here fourth-up in a thinner field and on a quick back-up. Did his best work late against better opposition at Wyong. That augurs well for this, settling a little closer in the run over 150m further. 4. God Save The King is a colt by King’s Legacy on debut in blinkers for the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable. Bolted in the third of three spaced trials and will likely jump clear favourite. 2. Amalfi Coast is another first starter and stablemate of the former also beginning in blinkers. By prolific sprint sire Written Tycoon and has been readied with three trials. 10. Aperitas is some value improving into her third start.
How to play it: El Qasabi to win.

Race 3

2. Good’n’you is well placed to break through for a leading metropolitan stable at his second outing. Failed to attack the line late on debut here as a short-priced favourite after looming to win, but stronger now and a pre-race gear change is a further pointer. 3. Bugatte is a big market watch returning for only his second start with blinkers on behind two trials for the Chris Waller yard. 8. Chispa is another Waller-trained first starter coming off two easy trials, and drawn to get a handy trail. 7. Lady Of The Castle is another one in strong city hands which can improve sharply at her third start, despite the wide draw, dropping down from a smarter metro maiden.
How to play it: Good’n’you to win.

Race 4

8. Flying Trufffles is a Flying Artie filly on debut for a leading country stable. Has not been seen at the trials since an easy hit-out last winter, but in work for some time and a leading country jockey takes the ride in a thin race. 3. Arabian Melody is an ex-Victorian mare having her first start for a new Muswellbrook stable after a break of more than 28 months. Arrives with a handy reputation having placed twice in a couple of decent maidens over the border in 2023 and has been tuned up with two trials. Has near side blinkers on from a low draw, but must monitor any betting moves, given she shapes under the odds early. 4. Gyra is in the mix second-up, with a gap to the rest.
How to play it: Flying Truffles to win.

Race 5

3. Grassburn is a tough and fit country mare which maps to strike deep into the current campaign. Has only missed a place once in her last five, and that was in a much deeper Class 3 Highway where she still finished only a few lengths from the winner. Wasn’t far away in a country BM 74 10 days ago and again drawn to get a favourable run right behind the speed. 1. New Pharoah is a sparingly raced five-year-old which took on tougher Highway company last winter and resumes off a smart trial win. 5. Ivy Diva has never raced better, rushing home to win her last two at BM 58 level, and gets some weight relief for this tougher assignment. 6. Twilight Rock resumes off a lengthy break with significant gear changes. 2. Ensign Park, with weight relief, and 7. Broken Wings, also down sharply in weight fourth-up, can add value into trifecta and first fours.
How to play it: Grassburn to win.

Race 6

3. Punch One Out is an under-rated country four-year-old resuming in a winnable race off a 27-week spell. Capped a consistent prep last winter by sweeping home to win a BM 58 and has shown an ability to react early in the prep. Top country jockey retains the ride and this is the ideal fresh distance. 9. Miss Capitale is a serious threat resuming for the Matthew Smith stable at Warwick Farm behind two trials from a handy draw. 2. Herman Said is a progressive home tracker which dug in hard to claim a Class 1 here fourth-up and the third horse from that race bolted in his maiden on the course proper on Saturday. Query, though, with a raw 4kg claimer taking over from one of the leading jockeys in the region. Big gap to the rest headed by resuming local 7. Issy’s Star, which draws the fence, and 10. Itszarbaby up a furlong in trip fifth-up.
How to play it: Punch One Out to win.

Race 7

5. Darn Deadly is a progressive mare which can claim a second straight win for the new country stable behind a five-week freshen. Was $3.30 into $3 sweeping home to win a Class 1 at Taree, and while there’s a bit more depth here, she has superior scope than these. 7. Chestime is well placed over a shade further but has also been accepted for Monday’s Dubbo meeting. 6. Lucky Ozzie is an improver chasing a second win from his last four, but much less experienced jockey takes over. 4. Cifonelli found the line well second-up in a Class 3 country BM 66. 2. Ken’ker, dropping down from tougher city grade, and 3. My Mate Kate, which drew to get a soft run, can run into the minor money at bigger odds.
How to play it: Darn Deadly to win.
