An allegedly stolen car has crashed on Brisbane’s Story Bridge, bringing traffic to a standstill.
The Toyota Yaris crashed into another car on the bridge about 3pm on Friday, causing the Yaris to flip on its side.
Northbound lanes of the Bradfield Highway, on the Story Bridge, were closed as a result of the crash. One lane is now operating in both directions.
Two people were inside the Corolla and were assessed by paramedics.
The driver was detained by police and has been taken to hospital.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
