Fresh from her decision to leave Goulburn and hop the border into Canberra, young trainer Danielle Seib unleashes a two-prong attack on the opening race at Monday’s Corowa meeting.
Long considered one of NSW’s most progressive non-metropolitan trainers, Seib has provided a real boost for the Canberra training ranks.

“We feel this move is the next step in our training journey,” she said. “There’s an opportunity for a small expansion and we’re really excited to train with the synthetic track and the equine pool.”
The stable is out to grab a second win from the new Canberra base since switching only a week ago.
Seib saddled up Sweet Treats to easily claim a Benchmark 58 Handicap over a mile at the Sapphire Coast last Friday.
Now, like most punters, she’s expecting a breakthrough result with promising albeit wayward three-year-old Neeson who will likely go around the shortest-priced runner in the country when he tackles a moderate Maiden Plate over 1300m to open the program.
Neeson, by Graff, went under narrowly at Nowra as a hot favourite when resuming for only his second start off a six-month break.
He drew the inside gate for the Corowa race, and naturally opened a long odds-on favourite.
And in the same race, the stable debuts well-touted Go Commando, a three-year-old son of Cox Plate winner Savabeel who starts his career behind two improving trials.

Later on the program, Seib is set to saddle up a promising pair in a competitive Class 3 handicap over 1000m, although intriguingly both have also been accepted for the Highway at Randwick on Tuesday.
Heading that duo is tough sprinting mare Master Of Disguise who looks well-placed third-up after finishing less than four lengths from the winner in a tougher BM 72 on the Kensington track at Randwick.
And stablemate Hellinda is aiming for back-to-back wins deep into his campaign after a tough BM 66 win at Bathurst.
