Selections based on a soft track

Race 1

2. Deel Me A Queen is lightly raced with four starts to her name and she has won two of them including a strong victory at Muswellbrook when last produced. She still looks to be on the up and looks set to score another win in this. 3. Zizette has been contesting provincial race grade races on late and despite being unplaced in her last three she is capable of improving here. 1. Final Impact did the job well when scoring a last start Dubbo win and can give a bold sight again. 4. Toulon Factor has been racing well with a win at Armidale followed by a second at the same track last time out and he can get into the placings again.
How to play it: Deel Me A Queen WIN.

Race 2

6. Truce is on debut here and has had two trials either side of a break. She won the latest of them at this track at the end of October with Reece Jones in the saddle, and he sticks with the mare here. 3. Territory Style ran well on debut at Dubbo and then followed a second at Armidale with a ninth in a strong maiden at Rosehill. This is easier. 2. Storm Capital is having his first run for a new stable after a recent second in a trial. 4. Gawking About is also on debut after two trials and can show up.
How to play it: Truce WIN.

Race 3

5. Laizabout has a consistent record and has been placed in all three runs since resuming. Another bold showing is on the cards. 11. Mount Bona has performed well in both runs since resuming and can show up again. 13. Joika debuted with a fourth at Muswellbrook and should be better for that hitout. 12. Superata has been placed in two of four starts and has claims here.
How to play it: Laizabout WIN.

Race 4

3. Balmain Warrior is having his first start here and had two trials earlier in the year before having a break before having two more in preparation for this. He’s in a good stable and a bold showing is on the cards. 7. Spicy Surprise has been placed in both starts and should be in the thick of things again. 9. Crathie Kirk has performed well in two runs to date with a fourth at Hawkesbury being followed by a third at Muswellbrook. 13. Satin’s Legacy was a last start Muswellbrook runner-up that has claims.
How to play it: Balmain Warrior EACH WAY.

Race 5

4. Borderfall is on debut for a leading stable and has had two trials to prepare. He ran second in the first of them and looks to have the talent to give this a shake. 7. Noble is also on debut after two trials and has the advantage of barrier one. 6. Newy has had three starts and ran second at Newcastle in his second start before being spelled. He resumed with a solid fourth on the Beaumont track. 11. Avista is a filly on debut after two trials and should be primed to sprint well fresh here.
How to play it: Borderfall WIN.

Race 6

2. Margin Call had trialled well twice debuting with a strong Canberra win. He followed that up with a solid finishing fourth at Hawkesbury and this looks well within his reach. 8. Shenandoah River did the job well when leading throughout to score by a big margin at this track at her last start and should take beating again. 1. Runrainrun resumes here after two good trials at Warwick Farm and bears close watching, while 9. Lily Bobtail ran well when finishing second at Taree when resuming from a spell and could sneak into the placings again.
How to play it: Margin Call WIN.

Race 7

1. Zucchero is a well-bred Dundeel gelding that has won two of his seven starts and resumes from a spell in this. He won two on end at Muswellbrook and this track earlier in the year and has had two trials to prepare for this with the inside alley being to his advantage. 5. Mellancamp has been placed at Tamworth and on the Beaumont track at Newcastle at his latest two starts. 9. African Diamond broke through with a Muswellbrook maiden win when last produced and can show up again. 14. Gold Capital is a last start Armidale winner that warrants respect again.
How to play it: Zucchero WIN.

Race 8

3. Cresta Run had been racing well with a couple of second placings before scoring at Moree. She was then down the track in a Highway at Randwick before scoring as a well-backed favourite at Coonabarabran. She only needs to repeat that effort to be hard to hold out again. 9. Crimson Bonnet has been in good form with wins at Tamworth and Moree either side of a 10th at Scone. She can be thereabouts again. 5. King Larry is resuming from a spell and has a solid record with three wins from nine starts. 4. Flying Argyle was placed at Port Macquarie when last produced and is not the worst here.
How to play it: Cresta Run WIN.
