One person is dead and six others have been hospitalised after a gas leak at a restaurant in Sydney’s northwest on Tuesday morning.
It came after emergency services were called to the Haveli Indian restaurant in Riverstone on Tuesday morning.

Five police officers and another person have been taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Intensive and critical care paramedics were called just after 9am, with doctors and a CareFlight helicopter also dispatched to treat eight patients at the scene.
Images from the scene show multiple emergency vehicles by the business, which lies at an intersection adjacent to Riverstone Station.
Haveli is a restaurant chain with venues in Riverstone and Stanhope Gardens, with its website saying it is “proud to bring you the authentic taste of Indian cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere”.
