The future of Carlton coach Michael Voss remains unclear following a marathon board meeting at the club’s Princes Park headquarters on Wednesday.
Major agenda items, including the future of Voss and his assistant coaches, were discussed over the course of nearly five hours.

Senior Carlton officials, including incoming chief executive Graham Wright did not return calls after the meeting.
Voss was filmed leaving the club just after 5pm, while the meeting was still in progress. Club officials would not comment on whether the coach presented to the board on Wednesday.
“Every day is important for a football coach,” Vice-president Patty Kinnersly told Seven when asked about Voss.

Voss’ job is on the line after another disappointing season, despite being contracted for next year.
President Rob Priestly declared six weeks ago that Voss would coach out the year but could not guarantee his job going into 2026.
The mounting pressure on Voss comes as several key players look to find new homes ahead of next season.
Ruckman Tom De Koning is almost certainly joining St Kilda on a monster deal, Jack Silvagni is meeting with rival coaches to find his next club and Charlie Curnow could still demand a trade if he can find a club capable of providing a suitable deal.
Despite preaching stability under outgoing CEO Brian Cook, the Blues could be set for more significant change if the board comes down hard after another horror season.
Priestly was appointed president after Luke Sayers was forced to step down following a lewd photo scandal, Wright officially begins as chief executive next Friday August 15, while Brad Lloyd’s position as football boss is also in significant doubt.

Lloyd began his role at Princes Park in 2018, when Brendon Bolton was still coaching. As football boss, he has overseen Bolton, David Teague and now Voss and has previously claimed Voss was “one of the best things to happen at the Carlton footy club in a long time”.
