A man allegedly lured a university student, a teacher’s aide and another woman into relationships before raping them dozens of times over two years, including in public places such as a doctor’s clinic and shopping centre.
Egyptian national Ahmed Nassef, who is in Australia on a bridging visa, is accused of raping two 21-year-old women and one 28-year-old woman 32 times between 2023 and 2025 across Sydney, threatening to expose intimate images if they spoke out.
Court documents obtained by the Herald outline many allegations that are too graphic to publish, but paint a disturbing picture of how the 31-year-old allegedly drew the women into his web of abuse and used threats to keep them trapped.
Teacher’s aide allegedly raped over two years
Nassef, also named in court documents as Ahmed Yasser Ahmed Salaheldien Nassef, met his first alleged victim in May 2023 at the Winston Hills Vodafone store, where he worked. They exchanged numbers, and the woman later sent Nassef photos showing her breasts at his request.
Later that night, Nassef turned up to her house, forced her into the back of his car and raped her, the documents allege.

Following this, the teacher’s aide felt she should marry Nassef “because she had been sexually involved” with him. This was the beginning of an alleged rape rampage lasting two years.
One alleged assault left her unconscious after she was slapped in the face for yelling “stop” 20 times. The documents state that other sexual assaults were committed in public, including in a queue for an Oporto fast food outlet at Westfield Parramatta and inside a Kmart change room.
It is alleged that in a desperate attempt to manage his predatory behaviour, the woman once asked if they could have a “safe word” when sex became painful. Nassef initially agreed but later ignored her, leaving her battered and bruised. He is accused of yelling “shut up, you are mine, I can do whatever I want to you” and that she must “obey” him.

When the woman tried to end their relationship in April this year, Nassef threatened to send videos of a sexual nature to her parents and report false allegations to police.
“What would your dad think if he sees a video of you enjoying yourself in bed,” he allegedly said. Feeling “terrified”, she stayed with him.

In late 2023, Nassef met a young university student at the same Vodafone shop. They exchanged numbers and the woman soon agreed to be his girlfriend.
Over the next two years, the woman was raped repeatedly, the fact sheet alleges, often crying during the crimes.

She was also allegedly raped in public, including at Fairlight Beach in Manly and in the toilet of a doctor’s office at Westmead, an alleged assault stopped by a door knock.
Woman feared cultural repercussions
According to police, Nassef met the third alleged victim in April 2023 on the Muslim dating app, Muzmatch (now renamed Muzz). They exchanged numbers and shared pizza and soft drink on their first date. On the same night, Nassef asked to marry her, boasting about his “large salary”. She declined.
A few days later, at his North Parramatta unit, Nassef pulled out $10,000 in cash and said he could gift it to her in exchange for sex. At first, the documents say, the woman said she “could try” but Nassef engaged in sexual acts that were so painful she was “screaming and crying”. She was then late for a job interview.
The woman later told police that she continued a relationship with Nassef because of cultural pressures to do so after she’d had sex, and fears that no-one else would want to marry her. Police allege the abusive relationship lasted several months.
Arrest in September 2025
On September 18, police were granted a warrant to search Nassef’s apartment. They said he declined to provide his phone password.
At the time of several alleged offences, Nassef was serving a community correction order for two sexual touching offences, which expired in May 2024.
Recent Supreme Court bail proceedings heard Nassef had been married multiple times and had a wife in Egypt.
Police argued he posed an unacceptable risk to the community, and that they had evidence he had contacted about a dozen other women – mostly through the Muzmatch app – hoping to start relationships. He was refused bail and will next face the local court on Thursday.
