Two serious crashes within minutes of each other on Thursday morning delayed traffic for hours north of Brisbane.
Two vehicles collided travelling north on the Bruce Highway near Beerwah just before 6.30am, and a motorbike rider was badly injured about the same time when he struck a truck at Mango Hill.
Emergency services were called to both locations.
A car at the first crash left the road and rolled into a bush, with one man taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The rider at the second was taken to the same hospital in a serious condition.
Both roads were reopened, but Queensland Traffic and Google were still reporting heavy delays heading north along the Bruce Highway and adjacent Steve Irwin Highway at 10.15am.
