Fashion designer Rebecca Vallance of the eponymous brand and her financier husband David Gasan have put their glamorous Vaucluse mansion on the market.
The couple purchased a two-storey property on the site for $4.45 million in 2018 from Rosalinde James, records show, and knocked it down to make way for a palatial multi-level build with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms by architecture firm Archer Design.

The Gasans had a vision in mind from the get-go, with Rebecca having told Domain in 2021: “The plans went into council to build on the site pretty much as soon as we purchased.”
“It’ll have lots of archways, the design will be a mix of modern and class architectural style, and we wanted an abundance of entertaining options, too,” she said.

Hamish has been the construction project manager at Richard Crookes Constructions since 2021 and ran his own construction business Hutcon from 2006 to 2009. Nell was formerly a partner at Goldman Sachs, head of global markets for Australia and New Zealand.
Records show the couple purchased the abode for $9.2 million in 2020 from Hugh and Sara Millikin. The couple could be selling as they are rumoured to have purchased the long-time Cremorne family home of Lisa Wilkinson and Peter FitzSimons.
Wilkinson, a former Today co-host, and FitzSimons, a former Wallaby-turned-author, sold the abode for an undisclosed sum after it passed in at $24.5 million at a private auction in September. A sold sticker on the listing reveals a sale by private treaty on October 28.
The five-bedroom, landmark residence on 3214 square metres, was purchased by the media power couple for $2.95 million in 1998.
Pillinger’s Brad Pillinger and Monika Tu of Black Diamondz Property Concierge sold the property but declined to comment on any aspect of the sale or buyer’s identity. Both will be revealed at settlement.
