Goulburn-based horseman Matt Dale will send a strong team to Moruya on Tuesday as his attention turns towards the $2 million The Kosciuszko at Randwick on October 18.
Dale, who won the $110,000 The Panorama at Bathurst on Sunday with Ringarosa, has favourite Front Page and Boston Rocks confirmed as starters in The Kosciuszko, which will be run on the same day as The TAB Everest.

But first, he will concentrate on his six-prong attack at the Moruya meeting, starting with Brannum in the Bob’s VIP Passenger Service Country Boosted Maiden Handicap (1435m). Pierre Boudvillain takes the ride on Brannum, which has failed to fire in his past two starts at Goulburn and Canberra.
“He’s only lightly raced, with five starts to his name, and he was placed in the first three of them,” Dale said. “If he can find that form again then he will be in the finish of Tuesday’s race.”
Boudvillain will again combine with Dale when partnering Write Your Own in the Claire Ramsbotham Apprentice Of The Year Class 1 Handicap (1435m). Write Your Own has had three starts since joining the Dale stable, with his best result being a second at Goulburn two starts ago.
The trainer has Louise Day riding Dooralong in the Dazzled Trophies And Gifts And Cartridge World Maiden Plate (1210m).
“He’s a nice horse by Rubick that has only had the one start at Nowra in which he finished fourth,” Dale said. “He’s drawn awkwardly out wide but has the ability to figure prominently.”
Dale has two runners in the Terry Robinson Trainer Of The Year Country Boosted Benchmark 66 Handicap (1210m) with Jackpot Star (John Kissick) and Loch Erin (Boudvillain) going around.

“Jackpot Star has done nothing wrong in his five-start career,” Dale said. “He’s won two of them and been in the placings in the other three, and scored a strong last-start Nowra win. Loch Erin has a wide gate to overcome but can be thereabouts with the right run.”
Dale rounds out the Moruya meeting when Day rides Capital Heart in the Dazzled Home And Gifts Benchmark 82 Handicap (1435m).
