On Tuesday afternoon, it was almost impossible to detect where the crash had occurred, bar a few remaining police markers on the road.
Royal Parade is quiet, tree-lined, and frequently used by cyclists, with several entrances to the bikeway running along nearby Enoggera Creek.
The stretch of road where the cyclist crashed is wide and flat, and lit by street lamps.

Cars commonly park on both sides of the street.
Police said they were investigating the incident and urged anyone who witnessed it or who has relevant CCTV or dashcam from the area to come forward.
