A top-notch Darlinghurst wine bar from the owner of Where’s Nick.

It sounds like a snobby wine group, but Claret Club couldn’t be further from it. Set inside a two-storey, cabernet-hued terrace in Darlinghurst, this easygoing wine bar is the latest project from Where’s Nick restaurateur and sommelier Bridget Raffal. It’s the kind of place where you can wander in for a $15 glass of Domus Vini sangiovese and a plate of crunchy pigs’ head croquettes, no membership required. The drinks list is approachable, with 30 wines by the glass, including a strong showing of the namesake Bordeaux.
