Sebby’s second outpost is in the former Black Star Pastry space on Acland Street.

Following the success of its Caulfield South flagship, Sebby’s has since opened up a new store on Acland Street in the space formerly housing Black Star Pastry. Like the original, the new digs is all about doing one thing well: scrolls (particularly the cinnamon variety).
What sets them apart is the Saigon cinnamon, which lends a sharper flavour than the more common Dutch or Sri Lankan varieties. It’s balanced by a generous swirl of cream cheese icing or a dairy-free alternative, making it one of the few vegan-friendly scrolls around (for another solid vegan option, check out Mister Nice Guys in Ascot Vale).
Savoury flavours include cheese and vegemite, while a monthly special rotates – it could be a spiced carrot cake spin on the classic, or a cheesy pizza scroll.
