Caboolture Abbey Museum robbed in overnight heist

Priceless artefacts have been stolen from the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology in an overnight heist north of Brisbane.

A man smashed a window at the museum and entered the premises on The Abbey Place in Caboolture about 3am on Friday.

He then allegedly stole four artefacts, including a statue and bust.

Anyone with any information about the incident, the persons involved, or the whereabouts of the distinct stolen property, is urged to contact police.
