Top trainer Bjorn Baker has high aspirations to produce results for Godolphin – and aims to start the association with a winning weekend.

Baker, who has been enjoying a great run of success, said he’d love to start his Godolphin association with winners.

“We head to Wyong on Sunday with some great chances,” said Baker.

Baker will rely on Charlecote Mill to fly the Godolphin flag when lining up in the Grays.Com 3YO Maiden Plate (1200m).

“She’s my first runner for Godolphin,” said Baker. “I’ve been given a number of runners to the stable, and they all look promising.

“Charlecote Mill looks set to settle well first-up from the spell. She’s settled in well and I couldn’t be happier with her. She’s at double figure odds, but she’s first-up from a spell, and she’s very well bred. She looks set to run well.”

Baker said Whatalegacy is the biggest chance of the stable at Wyong with Dylan Gibbons partnering the galloper from a wide barrier.

Whatalegacy is a three-year-old colt by King’s Legacy that has had three trials and ran second in the first of them before winning the latest two.

Baker will have the Godolphin owned Pericles running in the upcoming Tramway Stakes at Randwick next Saturday.

The Chris Waller prepared Golden Century looks set to score at Wyong after a solid resuming effort at Hawkesbury, while Kim Waugh will attempt to follow up her good week with Squeezebox and Community lining up in the last event of the day.

Allan Kehoe, who has had Shaggy running well in his events, has Lease lining up in the Sharp DS Central Coast Midway Benchmark 64 Handicap (1350m), while Mark Minervini has King’s Duty lining up in the same event for Gerry Harvey.

Jay Ford has a number of leading rides at Wyong headed by Brut Nature in the KFC Toronto Maiden Plate (1625m). He’s also on Toranga, Billund, Hard Jakka, Last Druid and Lease.

Hard Jakka contests the Rarity Wholesale Provincial Maiden Handicap (1100m) on the back of two good trials in which he’s performed well in both.
